We have two progression advisors who support our students as they prepare to move on from William Morris Sixth Form. Our External Progression Coordinator focuses on university and other Higher Education options whereas our Careers Advisor focuses on employment and apprenticeships. We also provide links to extra advice and support from several external organisations including ‘Into University’ and CfBT, who are both independent charities offering careers information, advice and guidance.

As well as supporting our tutors to develop high quality careers education, our advisors provide students with vital information and guidance. The Careers area in our Student Support Services Centre is well-stocked with information on careers, job-seeking, apprenticeships and further education. We offer one-to-one guidance, and group sessions on, for example, job-seeking, CV writing, and interview skills. These workshops support students who are looking to progress into employment or apprenticeship schemes. There are also opportunities for students to gain vital work experience while studying with us.
